Job Description:As a Purchase Manager in the Food & Beverage industry, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and other supplies necessary for our production operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely availability of quality products to meet production demands while optimizing costs and maintaining strong vendor relationships.Key Responsibilities:Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and timely deliveries.Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production schedules and minimize holding costs.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all purchased items meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, and work with suppliers to resolve quality issues.Cost Optimization: Continuously analyze and seek opportunities to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.Contract Management: Develop and manage procurement contracts, agreements, and supplier relationships to ensure favorable terms.Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging suppliers to make informed procurement decisions.Forecasting: Collaborate with the production and planning teams to forecast procurement needs accurately.Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth operations.Reporting: Generate regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in the Food & Beverage industry.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.Excellent Analytica
