As a Restaurant Captain, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Your main responsibilities will include:- **Customer Service**: Greet and welcome guests, providing an exceptional dining experience by addressing their needs and preferences.- **Order Management**: Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff.- **Team Coordination**: Work closely with the kitchen and serving staff to maintain a smooth workflow and timely service during busy periods.- **Menu Knowledge**: Familiarize yourself with the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer any customer questions confidently.- **Table Management**: Oversee and manage tables to ensure they are clean, set up correctly, and ready for new guests.- **Feedback Collection**: Proactively seek feedback from customers to assess their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.To qualify for this part-time position, you should possess the following skills and expectations: - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.- A friendly and positive attitude, able to work in a fast-paced environment.- Basic math skills for processing bills and handling cash.- A willingness to learn and adapt to changes in menu or restaurant policies.- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.You must have completed at least the 10th grade and have some experience in customer service or a restaurant environment, although this is not mandatory.
