- Responsible for accurately picking items from shelves or bins based on order specifications: The picker & packer will need to carefully select the correct items to fulfill customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.- Efficiently pack items into boxes or containers for shipment: Once the items have been picked, the picker & packer will be responsible for securely and neatly packaging them to ensure safe delivery to customers.- Maintain a clean and organized work area: It is important for the picker & packer to keep their work station tidy and organized to facilitate smooth workflow and to comply with safety regulations.- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment: The picker & packer may be required to help with counting inventory, restocking shelves, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.Skills and Expectations:- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.- Good attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing of items.- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy boxes or items.- Basic math skills to count inventory and ensure correct quantities are packed.- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively.
