Bachelors in engineering, building sciences or relevant subjects. Project management professional certification or any equivalent qualification is an added bonus. Team player and collaborative nature. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong multitasking, time management and organisational skills. Excellent knowledge of building permits, legal requirements and construction procedures. Well versed with construction and project management software. Supervise the construction project from start to finish. Coordinate with architects and engineers to understand the project details and requirements. Network with external contractors and negotiate to attain the best deals and rates for assignments. Monitor the performance of personnel on site and provide directions and feedback as and when required. Ensure resources are being used to the optimum to provide best results. Address any grievance of personnel. Report any discrepancies to superiors and implement effective and timely solutions.
