Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & CommissioningAssist in setting up digesters, gas storage systems, piping, and auxiliary equipment.Support in mechanical and electrical fitting during plant installation.Operation & MonitoringOperate pumps, mixers, blowers, and gas handling systems.Monitor parameters like temperature, pH, gas pressure, and slurry levels.Maintain logbooks and daily plant operation records.Maintenance & TroubleshootingPerform preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.Identify and rectify issues like leaks, blockages, and equipment faults.Assist in replacement of defective parts and system upgrades.Safety & ComplianceFollow all safety protocols for working with gas, machinery, and waste materials.Use PPE and ensure safe handling of tools and chemicals.Support & CoordinationCoordinate with engineers for technical guidance.Assist in training plant helpers or junior staff.Maintain tools and ensure availability of spares.

1. Conduct soil testing and analysis to assess nutrient content, pH, organic matter, and other soil characteristics.2. Develop soil management practices that enhance fertility and promote sustainable agriculture.3. Advise farmers on the use of fertilizers, compost, and other soil amendments based on soil test results.4. Monitor and recommend soil conservation techniques to prevent erosion, compaction, and degradation.5. Collaborate with agronomists, agricultural engineers, and extension officers to provide effective soil management solutions.6. Research and recommend sustainable agricultural practices like crop rotation, cover cropping, and organic farming.7. Implement and oversee soil-related projects, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory guidelines.8. Provide training and advice to farmers on proper soil management and the latest agricultural technologies.9. Prepare detailed reports on soil health, fertility, and related agricultural practices.10. Use GIS and other tools to map soil properties and monitor soil health trends over time.
