key responsibilities

installation & commissioning

assist in setting up digesters, gas storage systems, piping, and auxiliary equipment.

support in mechanical and electrical fitting during plant installation.

operation & monitoring

operate pumps, mixers, blowers, and gas handling systems.

monitor parameters like temperature, ph, gas pressure, and slurry levels.

maintain logbooks and daily plant operation records.

maintenance & troubleshooting

perform preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.

identify and rectify issues like leaks, blockages, and equipment faults.

assist in replacement of defective parts and system upgrades.

safety & compliance

follow all safety protocols for working with gas, machinery, and waste materials.

use ppe and ensure safe handling of tools and chemicals.

support & coordination

coordinate with engineers for technical guidance.

assist in training plant helpers or junior staff.

maintain tools and ensure availability of spares.
