Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Fiber Optic Splicer to join our telecom deployment team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in splicing, testing, and troubleshooting optical fiber networks.Key Responsibilities Perform fiber splicing on live and new cable networks (FTTH/FTTx/Backbone). Handle OTDR, Power Meter, and Splicing Machines efficiently. Interpret fiber network plans, routes, and schematics. Execute fiber testing, fault finding, and rectification. Coordinate with field teams for network activation and maintenance. Ensure proper documentation of splicing records and daily reports. Maintain safety protocols and quality standards at all job sites.Required Skills Strong knowledge of optical fiber types, color codes, and standards. Proficient with fusion splicing machines and fiber test tools (OTDR, VFL). Ability to work in field conditions and travel to deployment areas. Basic understanding of telecom infrastructure and routes.
