Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Fiber Optic Splicer to join our telecom deployment team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in splicing, testing, and troubleshooting optical fiber networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fiber splicing on live and new cable networks (FTTH/FTTx/Backbone).

• Handle OTDR, Power Meter, and Splicing Machines efficiently.

• Interpret fiber network plans, routes, and schematics.

• Execute fiber testing, fault finding, and rectification.

• Coordinate with field teams for network activation and maintenance.

• Ensure proper documentation of splicing records and daily reports.

• Maintain safety protocols and quality standards at all job sites.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of optical fiber types, color codes, and standards.

• Proficient with fusion splicing machines and fiber test tools (OTDR, VFL).

• Ability to work in field conditions and travel to deployment areas.

• Basic understanding of telecom infrastructure and routes.

• Good physical stamina for outdoor tasks.

Qualification & Experience

• 12th Pass or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic splicing
