Department: Sales & Operations / Leisure & Corporate TravelLocation: KochiReports To: Operations ManagerCompany OverviewTake My Family, A new wing of Tours & Travel by IILT & Twins Abroad, has an opening for Senior Travel Advisor, who will be responsible for managing high-value client enquiries, designing customised travel itineraries, and ensuring exceptional service delivery from enquiry to post-travel feedback. This role also involves mentoring junior staff, maintaining supplier relations, and meeting monthly sales and performance targets.Key Responsibilities1. Client Handling & Sales- Manage premium customer enquiries for domestic and international destinations.- Understand client preferences and recommend suitable travel packages.- Convert enquiries into bookings using strong sales and negotiation skills.- Provide quotations, itinerary options, and destination information.- Handle complex, multi-destination itineraries.2. Itinerary Planning & Operations- Prepare detailed itineraries, costings, and travel documentation.- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, DMCs, and suppliers.- Ensure timely delivery of vouchers and tickets.- Handle amendments, cancellations, and special requests.3. Customer Experience & Retention- Provide personalised service and maintain long-term relationships.- Manage VIP and repeat clients.- Resolve service escalations professionally.- Collect and act on post-travel feedback.4. Team Leadership & Training- Guide junior consultants on destinations and sales techniques.- Review team quotations and itineraries.- Support management in training and onboarding.5. Market & Product Knowledge- Stay updated on travel trends, visa rules, and new destinations.- Maintain strong relationships with DMCs and partners.- Suggest new packages and improvements.6. Reporting & Compliance- Maintain accurate records of sales and enquiries.- Present weekly/monthly reports.- Ensure company compliance standards are followed.Required Skills & Qualifications- 510+ years of experience in travel sales or operations.- Strong knowledge of major travel destinations.- Excellent verbal and written communication.- GDS knowledge preferred.- High attention to detail and organisational skills.- Ability to multitask and handle peak-season pressure.Key Attributes- Customer-centric approach- Leadership mindset- Problem-solving ability- Professional behaviour- Target-driven attitudePreferred Candidate:FemaleJob Types: Full-time, PermanentApplication Question(s):Which GDS platforms have you worked with?
