Key Responsibilities:1. Analyzing building specifications, codes, and sites.2. Creating technical drawings from architects' sketches and specifications.3. Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements,calculations, building codes, and other construction details.4. Printing CAD drawing schematics for use by architects, construction managers, andstructural and maintenance engineers.5. Preparing drawings, charts, and records with CAD equipment and conventionaldrafting techniques.6. Visiting construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions asneeded.7. Collaborating with architects and construction engineers to ensure adherence tobuilding specifications and industry regulations.8. Keeping abreast of the latest developments and technologies in architectural design.? Key Requirements:1. An associates degree or certification program in architectural drafting, or similar.2. Prior experience as an architectural draftsman will be advantageous.3. Advanced proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.4. In-depth knowledge of building design, specifications, codes, and structural analysis.5. Ability to apply the fundamentals of sketching and design.6. Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.7. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
