The Hydro-Mechanical Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hydro-mechanical engineering and project management, including design, fabrication, erection commissioning, estimation, department correspondence, technical document making and project management with various departments. This role requires strong technical expertise in hydro-mechanical works of hydropower projects, as well as exceptional leadership and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery.Responsibilities:1. Hydro-Mechanical Engineering:o Lead the design and engineering of hydro-mechanical systems for hydropower projects, including penstocks, gates, and related components.o Ensure compliance with industry standards, and project specifications throughout the design process.o Provide technical guidance and expertise to the engineering team, resolving complex engineering challenges as they arise.2. Bill of Material (BOM) Development:o Oversee the creation of detailed bills of materials (BOM) for hydro-mechanical works for new tenders, working closely with engineers and procurement specialists.o Optimize material procurement and sourcing strategies to maximize cost-effectiveness and project efficiency.o Maintain accurate records of BOM revisions, updates, and supplier information.o 3. Departmental Correspondence:1.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients for all hydro-mechanical engineering projects.2.
