job description:

we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced hydro-mechanical manager to lead our hm team in the execution of hydro power projects. the hydro-mechanical manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hydro-mechanical engineering and project management, including design, fabrication, erection commissioning, estimation, department correspondence, technical document making and project management with various departments. this role requires strong technical expertise in hydro-mechanical works of hydropower projects, as well as exceptional leadership and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery.

responsibilities:

1. hydro-mechanical engineering:

o lead the design and engineering of hydro-mechanical systems for hydropower projects, including penstocks, gates, and related components.

o ensure compliance with industry standards, and project specifications throughout the design process.

o provide technical guidance and expertise to the engineering team, resolving complex engineering challenges as they arise.

2. bill of material (bom) development:

o oversee the creation of detailed bills of materials (bom) for hydro-mechanical works for new tenders, working closely with engineers and procurement specialists.

o optimize material procurement and sourcing strategies to maximize cost-effectiveness and project efficiency.

o maintain accurate records of bom revisions, updates, and supplier information.
