Appointment Scheduling and Coordination:Schedule diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, X-rays, MRIs) based on doctor referrals or patient requests.Coordinate timing between multiple diagnostic departments to streamline patient visits.Confirm appointments and follow up on rescheduling or cancellations.Patient Registration and Documentation:Assist patients with registration and ensure all necessary documentation (referral forms, prescriptions, ID proofs) is complete.Collect patient history relevant to the diagnostic procedure (e.g., allergies, fasting status).Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).Pre-Test Guidance and Instructions:Inform patients about test preparation requirements (e.g., fasting, hydration, medication restrictions).Provide clear instructions for specialized tests like contrast-enhanced imaging or stress tests.Ensure informed consent is obtained when required.Liaison with Diagnostic Technicians and Pathologists:Communicate test orders and priorities to the relevant lab/radiology staff.Ensure timely sample collection, scanning, or imaging procedures.Follow up on test results and their dispatch to patients or referring physicians.Patient Support and Service:Assist elderly, disabled, or anxious patients with care and comfort.Address patient queries related to procedures, waiting times, or results.Ensure a clean, welcoming, and stress-free diagnostic environment.Billing and Insurance Coordination:Verify patient insurance and eligibility for diagnostics services.Generate cost estimates and facilitate payments or reimbursements.Liaise with TPA (Third Party Administrators) for cashless claims where applicable.Result Delivery and Reporting:Monitor the timely availability of reports and inform patients once ready.Deliver soft or hard copies of test results as per patient preference.Coordinate with doctors for any urgent or abnormal findings requiring immediate attention.Compliance and Quality

Patient Assistance:Help patients in moving to and from diagnostic areas (e.g., X-ray room, CT scan, MRI, sample collection).Assist elderly, disabled, or unwell patients during registration, waiting, and testing.Offer wheelchairs or stretchers and support patients during transfers.Basic Support Services:Help patients change into diagnostic gowns when required.Ensure patient comfort during waiting and post-test recovery (if needed).Guide patients to appropriate counters or rooms as per the test schedule.Cleanliness and Hygiene:Maintain cleanliness in diagnostic rooms, waiting areas, and restrooms.Disinfect equipment surfaces and furniture as per protocol.Dispose of medical and general waste in the correct bins as per biomedical waste management rules.Logistics and Facility Management:Deliver samples, reports, or equipment within departments.Refill supplies like tissues, gloves, sanitizers, and patient gowns.Report equipment malfunctions or cleanliness issues to the supervisor.Compliance and Safety:Follow infection control and safety protocols strictly.Use protective gear (mask, gloves) as per standard procedures.Maintain patient confidentiality and dignity.

Education- MSc, BSC NURSING with registrationInitiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate and/or graduate students on topics such as pharmacology, mental health nursing, and community health care practices.Keep abreast of developments in their field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.Supervise students' laboratory and clinical work.Evaluate and grade students' class work, laboratory and clinic work, assignments, and papers.Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
