Job DescriptionThe Lighting Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling lighting products to clients. They provide technical expertise and guidance to help clients choose the right lighting solutions to meet their needs. Lighting Sales Engineers build and maintain relationships with clients and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.ResponsibilitiesPromote and sell lighting products to clients.Understand client needs and provide technical expertise to recommend appropriate lighting solutions.Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and targets.Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs.Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotes to clients.Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of lighting products.Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.Stay updated on lighting industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.

Job Responsibilities:Work with the Customer and Sales to develop a quotable/manufacturable solution to the customers requestComprehend engineering notes and communicate with internal and external customers as needed to accurately conceptualize and complete designsVisualize a concept from 2D to 3DDesign standard and custom tooling solutionsUse AutoCAD software to develop prints and designs for productionCreate and complete accurate drawings for custom tools and fixtures, under tight time constraintsEnsure timely output of drawings for customer approval.Work directly with operations to review, update, and approve designs and support the production group as each tool is madeFuture responsibilities based on experience will include:Train new or current Designers and be a resource for others when questions ariseBackup for design review processesOther tasks as defined by leadership

Job DescriptionMAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the effective coordination of the material planning, purchasing and production scheduling function and ensuring timely delivery to customers of finished products. Identifies raw material and component requirements for production from engineering. Collects information regarding raw material, component and related requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules. Prepares schedules and ensures timely completion of work orders for manufacturing purposes. Reviews capacity loads and identifies possible manufacturing constraints. Monitors and anticipates production issues due to capacity, and new product launches. Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customers, sales offices, suppliers, vendors and/or support groups as required. Monitors work orders from start to ensure the on time delivery of products Ensures accuracy of signals for the timely ordering and delivery of components to support manufacturing activities Prepares production/planning reports as required. Analyses month end activity to determine the need for forecast modification, recommends revisions. Participates in new product launch meetings and assists in developing new product forecasts and production schedules. Manages and/or maintains raw material inventory investment according to inventory entitlement models and drives improvement opportunities. Takes appropriate action in resolving discrepancies in order quantity, price and seeks corrective action on late deliveries. Prepares orders to vendors for raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods and related material needed for production. Supports evaluation of potential suppliers/vendors. Checks scheduled delivery dates and makes initial contact with suppliers/vendors on late deliveries.
