Global Distribution System (GDS) SpecialistAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced GDS Specialist to join our travel operations team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing reservations, bookings, and ticketing through various Global Distribution Systems while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute bookings, reservations, and ticketing through GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo)Process flight reservations, changes, cancellations, and refunds accurately and efficientlyCreate and maintain PNRs (Passenger Name Records) with complete and accurate passenger informationApply airfare rules, implement booking policies, and manage schedule changesEnsure fare optimization and identify cost-saving opportunities for clientsResolve complex booking issues and provide solutions for itinerary changesStay current with airline policies, fare rules, and industry regulationsGenerate reports and maintain accurate booking recordsQualificationsMinimum 2+ years of experience working with GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, and/or Galileo)Strong command of GDS native commands and cryptic entriesExcellent knowledge of airfare construction, ticketing procedures, and airline policiesExperience with international and domestic flight reservationsAbility to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and customer service skillsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilitiesFlexible to work in shifts as requiredBenefitsCompetitive salary packageProfessional development opportunitiesCollaborative and dynamic work environmentQualified candidates are invited to submit their resume and a brief cover letter outlining their relevant experience with GDS platforms.
