We are looking for a dedicated Office Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in all transactions. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and hold a B.Com degree. This full-time position is based in our Kolkata office.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Maintain Financial Records:** Accurately record all financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments to ensure clear financial tracking.- **Prepare Financial Statements:** Generate monthly and annual financial statements to provide insights into the company's financial health.- **Reconcile Accounts:** Regularly compare bank statements with company records to identify discrepancies and ensure all figures align.- **Process Payments:** Manage the accounts payable process by tracking and processing invoices for timely payments to vendors and suppliers.- **Budget Management:** Assist in preparing budgets by monitoring expenses and suggesting changes to improve financial efficiency.- **Tax Preparation:** Prepare necessary documentation for tax compliance and work closely with tax consultants to ensure accurate filings.**Required Skills and Expectations:**To be successful in this role, candidates should have strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
