Position: VMC ProgrammerJob Summary: As a VMC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing programs for Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) used in the production of precision components. Your role involves translating engineering designs into manufacturing instructions, ensuring efficient and accurate machining operations.Key Responsibilities:Interpret engineering blueprints and specifications.Select appropriate cutting tools for VMC operations.Use CAD and CAM software to generate detailed machining instructions.Optimize toolpaths, set cutting speeds, and feeds.Ensure efficient and accurate machine operation.Minimize production time while maximizing quality.Qualifications:Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, NX).Experience with VMC programming and operation.Knowledge of G-code and M-code.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to collaborate with engineering and production teams.Preferred Experience:Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in VMC programming.Familiarity with 2D and 3D programming for VMC machines.

Key Responsibilities:Operate VMC machinery with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up machines accurately.Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues to minimize downtime.Adjust machine settings to achieve desired tolerances and surface finishes.Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications.Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes and implement continuous improvement strategies.Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.Qualifications:Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Proven experience as a VMC operator in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Job Type: Full-time
