Responsibilities- Execute a PoC study of .NET to .NET Core migration.- Build together with OSPO, a tool to automate common issues found in SG code base- Work closely with application teams to help tailor the tool to best suit the needs of the specific use case under study.- Identify the best alternatives for concepts/technologies that are not supported on .NET Core platform- Wherever required, rewrite functionalities of third party dlls in to .NET core compliant version- Perform testing of the pilot apps migrated using the tool on Linux machines to ensure the tool works as expected.- Participate in all relevant team meetings and activities and provide updates on the progress on the PoC study.- Review and ensure complete and appropriate handover of documentation prior to operational acceptance/adoption of the tool.Profile Required- 4-6 years experience in an IT development environment- Expertise in .NET & .NET Core concepts & development- Good experience in Windows desktop apps(WinForms, WPF)/Web applications (ASP.NET, MVC) and WCF services- Min 2 years experience with Angular JS/React JS- Good knowledge about Entity Framework and other ORMsGood to have:- Prior migration experience- Banking / Finance / Fintech experience- Knowledge and experience with deploying .NET apps on cloud

Responsibilities- Execute a PoC study of migrating jobs from tools such as Ctrl-M, Autosys, etc to Airflow.- Build together with OSPO, a tool to automate job migration- Work closely with application teams to understand their production jobs complexities and incorporate them in the tool.- Perform testing of the pilot jobs migrated using the tool to ensure the tool works as expected.- Participate in all relevant team meetings and activities and provide updates on the progress on the PoC study.- Review and ensure complete and appropriate handover of documentation prior to operational acceptance/adoption of the tool.Profile Required- 3-5 years of experience in IT development environment- Strong knowledge in Python- Excellent debugging skills- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes and Airflow- Ability to understand job scheduling and workflows- Quickly learn new conceptsGood to have:- Prior migration experience- Knowledge and experience with production jobs
