- Assist customers in locating products: As a shop helper, you will be responsible for helping customers find the products they are looking for by guiding them to the appropriate aisle or section in the store.- Stocking and organizing inventory: You will assist in unpacking, arranging, and organizing products on the shelves to ensure that the store is well-stocked and products are easily accessible to customers.- Maintain cleanliness in the store: Your role will involve keeping the store clean and organized by sweeping, mopping, and dusting shelves and displays to provide a pleasant shopping experience for customers.- Handle customer inquiries and complaints: You will interact with customers to answer their queries, provide information about products, and address any concerns or complaints they may have in a polite and professional manner.- Assist in packaging and bagging products: You will help customers bag their purchases, package items for delivery, and ensure that products are handled carefully to prevent damage.- Follow safety and security procedures: It is important to adhere to safety protocols, such as wearing protective gear when necessary, and ensure that security measures are in place to prevent theft and maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.Required Skills and Expectations:- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and communicate product information.- Basic knowledge of consumer behavior to understand customer needs and preferences.- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from superiors.- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects when stocking shelves.- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stocking and organizing inventory.- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per store requirements.
