A Dispatch Clerk in a Steel Integrated DRI & Power Plant is responsible for managing dispatch activities, ensuring accurate documentation, coordinating with logistics providers, and maintaining records of material movement. The role plays a critical part in efficient inventory management, timely deliveries, and compliance with dispatch regulations.Requirements:Educational Qualifications:High school diploma / Bachelors degree in Commerce, Logistics, or Business Administration.Diploma or certification in Logistics & Supply Chain Management is an advantage.Experience:2-5 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse operations (preferably in the steel, DRI, or power industry).Experience in handling weighbridges, dispatch records, and ERP systems.Skills & Competencies:Knowledge of dispatch & logistics procedures in a manufacturing setup.Familiarity with E-Way Bills, GST invoicing, and transport documentation.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/Tally/SAP software.Good communication & coordination skills for dealing with transporters & vendors.Attention to detail & accuracy in handling dispatch documentation.Ability to work under pressure to meet dispatch deadlines.Job Responsibilities & Duties:1.
