requirements:
educational qualifications:
high school diploma / bachelor’s degree in commerce, logistics, or business administration.
diploma or certification in logistics & supply chain management is an advantage.
experience:
2-5 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse operations (preferably in the steel, dri, or power industry).
experience in handling weighbridges, dispatch records, and erp systems.
skills & competencies:
knowledge of dispatch & logistics procedures in a manufacturing setup.
familiarity with e-way bills, gst invoicing, and transport documentation.
proficiency in ms office (excel, word) and erp/tally/sap software.
good communication & coordination skills for dealing with transporters & vendors.
attention to detail & accuracy in handling dispatch documentation.
ability to work under pressure to meet dispatch deadlines.
job responsibilities & duties:
1. dispatch coordination & documentation:
prepare and process dispatch orders, invoices, and e-way bills.
ensure accurate and timely dispatch of finished goods and raw materials.
coordinate with transporters, drivers, and logistics teams for smooth delivery operations.
2. inventory & stock management:
maintain dispatch records, stock registers, and material movement logs.
ensure proper tracking of inward and outward shipments.
work with the warehouse team to manage stock availability for dispatch.
3. weighbridge & loading supervision:
oversee weighbridge operations to ensure correct weight measurement of materials.
verify loading of trucks as per invoice and dispatch schedules.
