Project Overview: Manas Foundation is initiating a new program designed to bring about transformative change in the working and service environment of public transport systems. This initiative seeks to create a conducive environment that enables women to become equal partners in workforce participation and transport service usage. The program aims to enhance the visibility of women in traditionally male-dominated roles within the transport sector, thereby fostering greater acceptance of their presence in such positions.Roles and Responsibilities:Conduct capacity-building workshops with bus conductors and drivers.Facilitate support groups for drivers and conductors to encourage discussions on gender sensitization and workplace inclusivity.Conduct impact assessments to measure the effectiveness of the training sessions and suggest necessary improvements.Collaborate with stakeholders to promote gender-equitable workspaces within the public transport sector.Document and report findings from workshops and support group meetings.
