Identifying new sales leads2. Pitching products and/or services3. Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customersWhen it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:1. Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities2. Keep prospective client database updated3. Make cold calls for new business leads4. Support in writing new business proposals5. Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company6. Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients7. Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers8. Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions aboutpurchasing9. Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short-and long-term business development plans10. Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person11. Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met12. Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.13.
