Role : Drayage Specialist/ Freight BrokerExperience: 1-3 yearsCompany 4A Solutions - https://www.4asolutions.com/Location : MohaliShift Timings : US Shift (Night shifts)Role Description Load Booking experience Arrangement of transportation Organizing item order by editing for price, promotion and weight compliance Arranges shipments by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating delivery requirements and placing orders. Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities and noting discrepancies. Ships items by examining items, destination, route, rate and delivery time ; ordering carriers. Track and dispatch shipping containers to and from the ports; preparing drivers for the next day. Records and documents information from Drivers and distributes required paperwork appropriately. Communicate with drivers to ensure accurate documentation. Input and process accurate shipment data within the management system. Ensure timely shipment of products. Fields incoming calls and e-mails from drivers and external customers; manages requests for pick-up or container delivery. Initiates outbound calls to drivers in line with their schedule, anticipating any pick-up/delivery issues. Troubleshoots and resolves delivery and pick-up concerns as they present. Schedules all appointments for both drivers and customers' shipments.Experience Required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required.
