- Responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities at the construction site.- Ensure that all work is carried out according to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project plans.- Monitor and report on progress, issues, and any deviations from the original plan to the project manager.- Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and manpower utilization on-site.- Enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.Required Skills and Expectations:- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders on-site.- Ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions to address any issues that arise during construction.- Basic understanding of construction processes and techniques.- Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and in challenging weather conditions.- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor tasks when required.- Detail-oriented and organized to keep track of project progress and resources effectively.
