About the RoleWe are looking for a strong, disciplined, execution-focused Operations Manager who can take full responsibility for daily operations, team productivity, deadlines, and client delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam & Work ManagementLead a team of 1025 people across taxation, compliance, and accounts verticalsAssign daily tasks, track progress, and ensure accountabilityConduct morning stand-ups and daily follow-upsEnsure deadlines are met with zero last-minute chaosProcess & Operations ControlMaintain task boards (Trello/Asana/ClickUp etc.)Implement SOPs and enforce workflow disciplineMonitor team efficiency and take corrective actionEscalate issues proactivelyClient Delivery OversightEnsure timely completion of GST, Income Tax, ROC, TDS, and other statutory filingsCoordinate with senior management for priority clientsHandle escalations and ensure high-quality outputPeople & Performance ManagementMaintain team discipline, attendance, and task ownershipIdentify inefficiencies and take strict corrective actionsConduct weekly performance reviewsBuild a culture of responsibility and continuous improvementRequired Skills & Personality TraitsMUST-HAVE PERSONALITYStrong communicatorBold, assertive, and comfortable with tough decisionsNaturally disciplined and structuredNot afraid to say no excusesThrives under deadlinesHigh follow-up and organisation abilityTECHNICAL EXPERIENCEExperience in CA / compliance / tax / finance operations is preferredUnderstanding of statutory deadlinesExperience managing teamsFamiliarity with task management toolsQualificationsGraduate or Postgraduate (B.Com/M.Com/MBA preferred)38 years experience in operations, process management, or team leadershipPrior experience in CA or compliance firms is a big plus
