We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter based in Kolkata, India, with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting and assembling mechanical components, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and meets specifications.Key Responsibilities:1. **Assembly and Installation**: Assemble mechanical components according to engineering specifications and drawings. Ensure that all parts fit correctly and function properly.2. **Maintenance and Repair**: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to minimize downtime and enhance performance.3. **Quality Control**: Inspect finished products and components for quality and compliance with standards. Make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal functionality.4. **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including any modifications or repairs made. Report any issues or required changes to management.5. **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers and other technicians to support projects and improve processes.
