The RoleThis is a senior role, reporting to the CEO. Accordingly, the purpose and key expectations would be as follows:Purpose:To ensure revenue growth & business expansion through B2B sales of Clover products for aquaculture and waste water treatment, mostly under white labelling.The key expectations of the role: Ensuring achievement of revenue targets for each vertical by:o Identifying potential customers across markets & geographieso Developing vertical/market specific sales strategies and ensuring successful implementation of the sameo Ensuring retention & growth of the existing customer base through excellence in relationship management & servicingo Ensuring accuracy of forecasts/projections, sales plans based on strong understanding of the market on the back of market research and dataCompetencies required: Knowledge, skills, attitude:KnowledgeEssential Knowledge & understanding of B2B business. Knowledge & understanding of Rural & institutional sales. Understanding of distributor/channel sales strategies.Skills Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong commercial acumen. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to analyse & interpret data. Ability to deliver sales in a short span of time.Attitude Results driven and having a strong bias for action. Initiative and drive. Open to travel extensively.The Individual: (education and experience)EssentialA Graduate degree.7+ years experience in sales, with minimum 4 years in the B2B space.Experience of having worked across markets/geographiesDesirableExperience in the bio-tech industry.
