(Skills & Attributes) High level of attention to details Mathematical aptitude Analytical ability Ability to keep documents well organized Ability to operate Tally Software Sound knowledge of Taxes, GST, TDS, Statutory Laws and Regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Basic knowledge of Domestic as well as International Logistics in relation to Incoterms, HIS Codes, Duty-Drawbacks, CEPA, the government scheme such as MEIS and RoDEP, etc. Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem solving skills(Duties & Responsibilities) Posting journal entries Updating financial statements Maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable Paying monthly payroll Preparing financial reports Negotiating freight & shipping charges with forwarding companies Drafting freight charge quotations based on the prescribed incoterms Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments Responsible for the preparation of appropriate and accurate logistics reports for upper management(Experience) Experience of working with multinational trading companies, logistic companies or chemical manufactures would be considered a plus.(Traits) Time consciousness Honesty & Transparency Team worker
