Department of Epidemiology and Public HealthAdvertisement for the Position of JRFApplications are invited for the position of Junior research fellow (JRF) on contract basis towork in a time bound DST sponsored research project (DST/SEED/SCSP/STI/2020/412)sanctioned to the undersigned at the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, CentralUniversity of Tamil NaduDetails of the position:Project Title: Capacity building and promoting good husbandry practices among livestockfarmers for the livelihood, sustainable livestock production and upholding public healthPosition: JRF 1 postMonthly Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 + 8% HRATenure of Position: 1 year, extendable annually till the completion of the project period,subject to satisfactory performance.Essential Qualification: MVSc in LPT/ MSc in Food technology / Dairy technology /Meat technology/ Fish Technology/ Bakery technology / Microbiology/ Epidemiology/MPH/ MSc Demography/MSc Health Economics/ MSc Biostatistics/Biotechnology/Molecular biology and other relevant disciplinesMinimum 55% marks with NET/GATE and/ or qualification of any other national levelexaminationDesirable: Prior experience in value added livestock products (Milk/ Meat/Poultry)technology, Fish technology, Diagnostics, intervention research (Randomised trials),operational researchAge limit: 35 years.Documents to be sent to the Principal Investigator by email as a single attachment on orbefore 16-1-2023, 5 PM1.
