applications are invited for the position of junior research fellow (jrf) on contract basis to

work in a time bound dst sponsored research project (dst/seed/scsp/sti/2020/412)

sanctioned to the undersigned at the department of epidemiology and public health, central

university of tamil nadu

details of the position:

project title: capacity building and promoting good husbandry practices among livestock

farmers for the livelihood, sustainable livestock production and upholding public health

position: jrf – 1 post

monthly fellowship: rs. 31,000 + 8% hra

tenure of position: 1 year, extendable annually till the completion of the project period,

subject to satisfactory performance.

essential qualification: mvsc in lpt/ msc in food technology / dairy technology /

meat technology/ fish technology/ bakery technology / microbiology/ epidemiology/

mph/ msc demography/msc health economics/ msc biostatistics/

biotechnology/molecular biology and other relevant disciplines

minimum 55% marks with net/gate and/ or qualification of any other national level

examination

desirable: prior experience in value added livestock products (milk/ meat/poultry)

technology, fish technology, diagnostics, intervention research (randomised trials),

operational research

age limit: 35 years.
