A transformer tank fabrication manager is responsible for the production of transformer tanks, including planning and scheduling, and overseeing the coordination of resources and personnel.1. Prepare complete fabrication details drawings as per approved drawings.2. Prepare drawings, GTP, Calculations as per relevant technical specifications, IS & IES with customer requirement for approval upto 50MVA, 132 KVA Class transformers.3. Review of fabrication drawings issues.4. Inspection & quality check of all in-coming raw material and bought out items.5. Co-ordinate the customer inspection at vendor ends for transformer tank, fabrication items,6. Preparation of non-conformance report after materials inspection, if required and ensure the proper closure of the same.7. Visual and Dimensional inspection of fabricated parts and welded joints.8. Conducting DP Test for welded joints.9. Conducting Pressure and Vacuum test on Tanks along with leakage test.10. Manufacturing fabrication document like check list, floor plan for vendor Audit al the all fabrication supplier (tank, channel, roller etc)11. Excellent knowledge in Arc & Gas cutting & all types of weldings.12. Excellent knowledge in Spray Painting, Material Surface & short blasting.12. Control of Raw material & consumables.13. Standardization of products by studying various drawings to increase production tonnage.14. Overseeing the coordination of materials, resources, and personnel to optimize fabrication processes15. Responsible for mechanical design, development, and analysis of the tank and components
