The Production Head is responsible for leading the entire production function, ensuring smooth operations, high-quality output, maximum efficiency, and strict adherence to safety and food-safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, planning ability, and deep knowledge of food manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities.Oversee end-to-end production operations across all processing and packaging units.Create and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.Ensure production targets, quality standards, and timelines are met.Lead and manage production teams: supervisors, operators, and support staff.Ensure FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and hygiene standards are followed.Optimize machine usage and reduce downtime.Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, Inventory, and Dispatch departments.Monitor raw material consumption and minimize wastageReview production reports, analyze KPIs, and take corrective actions.Lead process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement initiatives.Handle audits, compliance checks, and documentation.Train teams and improve skill levels across shiftsRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Food Technology / Food Engineering / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering5 years of experience in food processing / FMCG manufacturingStrong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, SOPsAbility to manage large teams and multiple production linesExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsSalary :25,000 to 30,000
