Role OverviewWe are looking for a part-time Software Development Manager who can lead a distributed team of engineers, oversee project execution, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality digital solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation along with team leadership and project management expertise. ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a remote team of software developers across web and mobile platformsSet development goals, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestonesArchitect and review technical solutions for scalability, security, and performanceWork closely with project managers, designers, QA, and clients to translate business needs into technical executionReview code, mentor developers, and foster a culture of technical excellenceImplement best practices in agile processes, DevOps, version control, and documentationHandle team allocations, performance feedback, and process improvements Required Skills7+ years of experience in software development (backend, mobile, or full-stack)2+ years in a team lead or managerial roleStrong understanding of modern tech stacks: JavaScript/Node.js, React, Flutter, Java/Kotlin (Android), Swift (iOS), AWS/GCP, etc.Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)Experience in scoping, estimating, and managing multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage remote teams effectively Preferred SkillsHands-on coding ability to guide developers when neededExperience with SaaS product architecture and scalable systemsExposure to cross-functional collaboration tools (JIRA, Notion, Slack, GitHub, etc.)Prior experience in an early-stage startup or digital agency is a plus Engagement DetailsType: Part-Time (1020 hours/week with flexible scheduling)Remote: Fully remote with async communication and weekly syncsCompensation: Competitive and project-based or hourly, depending on experience
