Responsibilities:Develop and implement dealer business plans, manage forecasting, inventory management and product line demand issues, set the business direction, and coordinate follow-ups with dealersCoordinate market development/fact plots and farm demonstrations with the assistance of large growersTrain the dealer sales force to sell value, deliver our brand experience and manage objections, mostly through ride along and joint farmer callsImplement, promote and communicate marketing incentive programsActively manage inventory concerns as appropriate to meet business objectivesDemonstrate proof of product performance against the competition by being the champion of Ocean Agro brands and product/technical/agronomic knowledgeEstablish side-by-side trial plots with targeted farmers to collect summarize performance data to optimize seed product recommendationsQualificationsBachelors Degree preferred in agronomy, agriculture, business, biology or related field or 15 plus years of equivalent experienceMinimum of three years of professional sales/account management experience or one or more years of sales experience working in the agriculture industryDemonstrate self motivation, initiative, assertiveness, and results orientationAbility to successfully work in a fast-paced changing environmentPrevious experience successfully working in teamsStrong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsDesire for long term career advancement (i.e., Marketing, Product Management, Logistics, Training, Finance)Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook)Willingness to travel and live/work in a rural environment.
