key responsibilities:
receiving and storing goods: assist in unloading shipments and ensuring that goods are stored in appropriate locations within the warehouse.
inventory management: help maintain accurate inventory by organizing and labeling stock, performing regular counts, and notifying supervisors of any discrepancies.
order fulfillment: assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling customer requirements.
loading and unloading: safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care and stored correctly.
warehouse maintenance: maintain a clean and organized warehouse by clearing aisles, disposing of waste materials, and ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition.
assist with stock movement: move goods and materials within the warehouse as needed, ensuring they are ready for distribution or further processing.
safety compliance: follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. report any unsafe conditions or accidents immediately to supervisors.
equipment handling: operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or hand trucks to assist in moving and storing products.
skills & qualifications:
education: high school diploma or equivalent.
experience: previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required. on-the-job training will be provided.
physical stamina: ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
