Hiring For VMC Operator

Read and understand engineering drawings and job instructions

Set up VMC machines with required tools, fixtures, and workpieces

Load, edit (basic), and run CNC programs as per job requirements

Set work offsets and tool offsets accurately

Operate the VMC for milling, drilling, tapping, and boring operations

Monitor machining processes to ensure proper functioning

Inspect components using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges)

Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and tolerance compliance

Identify and report machining defects or deviations

Replace worn or damaged cutting tools and manage tool life

Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance

Maintain coolant levels and lubrication systems

Follow safety rules and wear prescribed PPE

Maintain production and inspection records

Reduce scrap, rework, and machine downtime

Support quality systems such as ISO / IATF requirements

Communicate issues and handover details between shifts

Assist in continuous improvement and 5S activities

Coordinate with supervisors, programmers, and quality teams
