role purpose statement:
this position would be responsible for –
? the incumbent would be responsible for growth and managing the international air vertical within at regional office main accountabilities
? forecasting, planning and achievement of targets
? developing and nurturing new territories
? promoting business development activities by creating efficiencies, reports, and tools to maximize the sales efforts
? plan sales calls activity with a view to maximize sales and convert customers
? have a target of key accounts and effectively establish air products/ services on focused trade lanes
? develop, strengthen and nourish the relationships with new and existing customers
? identify and analyze target market and the clients within the specified area or customer group
? set objectives for each product in line with the goals of the organization
? develop a sales forecast vis-a-vis market changes . budgets & achievement of the same.
? the candidate should be willing to travel extensively within the region every month.
qualification:
? education- ug/pg/ professional degree
? experience- total 07-12 years.
knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies:
? the candidate should be from international air/ sea/ freight cargo industry
? should have excellent communication/ interpersonal skills
? must have 7- 12 years of strong sales and customer acquisition exposure to international air/ sea/ freight business
? sound understanding of freight forwarding business is a must
? should possess excellent customer relations abilities to convert them into life-time customer
? must know the strategies to expand business and explore new territories
? should have good experience of pricing for different international sectors
? must have managed teams along with the direct reportees
