The Telesales Officer is responsible for generating sales through outbound and inbound telephone calls. The role involves promoting products or services, identifying customer needs, closing sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote products or services
Receive inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries professionally
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Maintain accurate records of calls, customer information, and sales activities
Follow up on leads and previous customers to maximize sales opportunities
Handle objections and resolve customer concerns effectively
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, pricing, and promotions
Ensure compliance with company policies and sales scripts
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve sales performance
