Hiring For Supplier Quality Engineer

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the quality of materials and components from suppliers meets our company standards. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to enhance processes and ensure high-quality products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Supplier Evaluation:** Assess and select suppliers based on their quality performance, capabilities, and compliance with industry standards.

- **Quality Audits:** Conduct regular audits at supplier locations to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.

- **Quality Control Plans:** Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure consistent quality of incoming materials.

- **Root Cause Analysis:** Investigate quality issues that arise with supplier products and lead efforts to determine root causes and preventive measures.

- **Collaboration with Suppliers:** Work closely with suppliers to provide quality feedback and guide them on improvement initiatives.

- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of supplier quality performance, audit findings, and corrective actions taken.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

Candidates should have a diploma in engineering or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in quality engineering or supplier management. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for identifying issues and driving solutions. Effective communication skills are necessary for collaborating with suppliers and internal teams. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards will be critical in this role.
