Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Store Manager to oversee the management of our store and inventory operations for smart metering projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in inventory handling and store management within the smart metering or engineering manufacturing industry. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to streamline inventory processes to ensure efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

Maintain optimal stock levels to support smart meter installation projects.

Regularly update inventory records using software tools or manual logs.

Conduct periodic physical stock audits to ensure accuracy.

Store Operations:

Supervise all store activities, including material receipt, storage, and issuance.

Implement and monitor standard operating procedures for store operations.

Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration of materials.

Vendor Coordination:

Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any discrepancies.

Manage purchase orders and maintain relationships with key vendors.

Team Management:

Supervise and guide store staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Train team members in inventory handling best practices.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of inward and outward materials.

Generate regular inventory reports for management review.

Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Logistics Management:

Coordinate with project teams for material dispatch to installation sites.

Manage transportation and delivery schedules to avoid project delays.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education: Graduate in any discipline (Engineering or Supply Chain background preferred).

Experience: 3-4 years in store and inventory management within smart metering, engineering, or manufacturing industries.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management.
