key duties & responsibilities
1. sales and profitability
develop and implement business strategies to expand the customer base, increase store traffic, and optimize profitability.
monitor and analyze key performance indicators (kpis) like sales goals, conversion rates, and average transaction value.
manage the store's budget and control labor hours, supplies, and other controllable expenses.
2. team management and human resources
lead all hiring, training, and development activities for the store team, including performance management.
schedule staff effectively to meet business needs and control labor costs.
foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging store culture where employees feel valued and have opportunities for growth.
act as a leader on the sales floor, providing coaching and feedback to motivate the team and enhance performance.
3. customer experience
set and maintain high standards for customer service.
personally handle and resolve complex or escalated customer complaints and issues.
ensure the team has the product knowledge necessary to educate customers and drive sales.
4. store operations and merchandising
maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards according to company guidelines.
manage inventory levels, ensure accuracy of counts, and oversee product deliveries.
ensure the store adheres to all health, safety, and operational policies and regulations.
handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including reporting on sales trends and customer needs.
