Key responsibilities:
1. Receive and inspect incoming goods: The storekeeper will be responsible for receiving shipments, checking them against purchase orders, and inspecting goods for damage or defects.
2. Maintain inventory accuracy: Keeping track of stock levels, conducting regular stock counts, and updating inventory records to ensure accurate stock levels.
3. Organize and maintain storage areas: Ensuring that the storage areas are organized, clean, and well-maintained to facilitate easy access to goods.
4. Assist in packaging and labeling: Helping in packaging goods for shipment and labeling them accurately for easy identification.
5. Assist in issuing goods: Providing the required items to other departments or customers as per their requests and maintaining proper documentation.
