Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Drawing Editing & Formatting: Edit, dimension, annotate, and format 2D shop fabrication drawings, assembly sheets, single-part details, and erection plans generated from 3D modeling software (Tekla / AutoCAD).

Markup Implementation: Apply structural engineer/checker markups and redlines accurately to drawings, ensuring clear section views, weld symbols, and bolt placement details.

Standards Compliance: Ensure all drawing layouts, title blocks, bill of materials (BOM) tables, and scaling follow project detailing standards, AWS welding representations, and client guidelines.

Drawing Package Assembly: Clean up exported CAD/DXF/PDF files, resolve graphic overlapping, and compile complete drawing submittal packages for fabrication shop release and field erection teams.

Coordination & Revision Control: Track drawing revisions, assist in resolving Request for Information (RFI) items, and coordinate with modelers to update drawing revisions accurately.
