Role Overview:The Rebar Detailer will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed reinforcement drawings, barbending schedules (BBS), and rebar placing plans using RebarCAD. The role involves coordinating withstructural engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure drawings comply with designstandards and project requirements.Key Responsibilities: Develop rebar detailing drawings, sections, and layouts using RebarCAD. Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) directly from RebarCAD. Interpret structural drawings and specifications provided by consultants/clients. Coordinate with structural engineers to resolve design or detailing discrepancies. Ensure compliance with relevant codes (ACI, BS, IS standards as applicable). Review and verify drawings before submission for accuracy and completeness. Manage revisions, updates, and project documentation. Maintain organized drawing files and adhere to project timelines. Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth workflow and quality output. Provide technical support during construction, if required.Skills & Qualifications:Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in RebarCAD (mandatory). Hands-on experience with AutoCAD. Understanding of structural engineering concepts related to reinforced concrete. Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings.Soft Skills: Attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and within teams. Perform routine to moderately complex drawings, detailing and other related duties to produce accurate placing drawings and plans necessary for the fabrication and placement of reinforcing steel bars and related accessories in accordance with customer contract documents, industry standards and /or established practices and procedures. Use care to ensure the efficient use of materials, fabrication methods and timely delivery of finished products.

Rebar Detailer is accountable to create high-quality deliverables and outputs on schedule, acting independently to manage the assigned work and deliverables, work closely with the project lead and project manager to plan project implementation. Indicative responsibilities include:Carefully study project documents - drawings, details, RFIs, and addendums. Identify missing information, discrepancies, and constructability issues.Develop high-quality, accurate rebar using Rebar CAD software constructability, and previous experience.Participate in trade coordination meetings to identify and incorporate changes in the model.Create field deliverables like shop drawings, and export layout points from the model.Check the quality of work for accuracy before submissions to client teams. Meet quality metrics established for the project.Project set up.Communicate with clients regarding project deliverables. Most client meetings will happen between 5 PM and 10 PM IST.
