job summary:
a nurse is responsible to assist the doctors provide medical and nursing care to the patients.
job responsibilities:
1. patient engagement/services – schedule & manage appointments, greet, address concerns, provide caution, handling calls, iui & ivf patients calendar preparation, opd patient handling, consent explanation
2. coordination – doctors, ivf patients, other centres for medication, pres, ot technician, embryology team.
3. medication – correct medicine & correct dosage administration
4. injection room/administration – provide clear patient instructions, records, blood sample collection, maintain register/record, patient privacy, vacutainer, trigger injection
5. scan room management – assist doctor, scan schedules & records, scan machine maintenance/updation, patient privacy, update records
6. operation theatre management – assist doctor, sterilization, ot staff intimation, ot time register, schedules preparation, patient record, autoclaving, appointment scheduling, photos updation, patient privacy, theatre cost sheet preparation, biopsy register, discharge summary/report preparation, ot photos updation, patient transportation to recovery room, pre & post-operative care
7. follow up/updations – patients, medication, report updation to doctors & patients, pending reports, third party patient care
8. maintenance – surgical equipments & instrument, supplies/consumables, cold chain drugs, vacutainer, drug quality
9. management – bio medical waste, recovery room, scan room, ot, stock
10. statutory compliance/submissions – pcpndt records, narcotic register, form “c” & “f” submission
11. record keeping/reports – artis updation, patient records management, investigation reports, procedure book updation, log sheets, opd operations & reporting
skills required:
1. good written, verbal communication skills.
2. computer skill with experience of using ms office (word, excel etc).
3. high energy levels.
