duties and responsibilities:
- design and coordinate photovoltaic (pv) or solar thermal systems, including system components, for residential and commercial buildings
- create electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer-aided design (cad) software.
- using a load calculator and algorithms to determine how much power the panel requires
- create graphical representations of energy production systems.
- evaluating how many batteries a system may require to be fully functional according to the customer's preferred autonomy hours
- assessing the customer's environment to determine the most appropriate panel design and location to generate the most efficient level of electricity
- develop solar installation checklists
- enforce safety standards for installation work
- assess junior candidates
- perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (pv) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.
- familiar with concepts of lifepo4, bms, lead acid and gel batteries
- well-versed with spd, battery fuses, overcurrent fuses, mccb, mcb
- deep experience about solar hybrid inverters
- organization skills (scheduling installations with timely precise framework)
- prepare detailed work plans
- provide technical direction, guidance or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
- integration of a max 200 kw rooftop and ground-mount solar pv plant, seamlessly integrating it with the utility grid and backup gensets.
- expertly conducted comprehensive testing and commissioning of the solar pv systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- troubleshot and resolve technical issues swiftly, minimizing downtime.
- perform site-specific engineering analysis or evaluation of energy efficiency and solar projects involving residential, commercial, or industrial customers.
