project execution & supervision:

supervise and monitor the daily progress of construction work on-site, ensuring adherence to architectural drawings, structural designs, and project specifications.

plan and set out sites and infrastructure as per design, using various surveying instruments and techniques.

coordinate with sub-contractors, laborers, and material suppliers to ensure timely availability of resources and smooth workflow.

identify potential issues or deviations from the plan and implement corrective actions promptly.

quality control & assurance:

implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications.

conduct regular inspections of work in progress, materials, and finished elements.

maintain detailed records of daily progress, material consumption, labor deployment, and quality checks.

oversee and verify concrete pouring, rebar placement, formwork, and other critical construction activities.

health, safety & environment (hse):

ensure strict compliance with all company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures on-site.

conduct regular safety briefings, toolbox talks, and inspections to promote a safe working environment.

report and investigate any incidents or near misses, implementing preventative measures.

documentation & reporting:

prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to the project manager.

maintain accurate site records, including drawings, specifications, variations, and communication logs.

assist in preparing measurement sheets, bills of quantities (boq), and supporting documentation for billing and invoicing.

technical support & problem solving:

provide technical guidance and support to on-site teams, addressing construction-related queries and challenges.

collaborate with design teams, architects, and consultants to clarify ambiguities in drawings or specifications.

propose practical solutions to on-site technical problems that arise during construction.

resource management:

monitor and manage the efficient use of construction materials, plant, and equipment on-site.

assist in estimating and procuring required materials and equipment.

stakeholder coordination:

liaise effectively with clients, consultants, local authorities, and other stakeholders as required.
