key responsibilities

lead and manage end-to-end web application development using php and related technologies.

design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

work on cms (wordpress, drupal) and php frameworks (laravel, codeigniter, symfony, etc.).

optimize existing applications for speed, performance, and scalability.

collaborate with cross-functional teams including ui/ux, qa, and project management.

mentor and guide junior developers and conduct code reviews.

ensure best practices in coding standards, security, and database optimization.

integrate third-party apis, payment gateways, and restful/graphql services.

required skills & qualifications

bachelors/masters degree in computer science, it, or related field.

78 years of strong hands-on experience in php development.

proficiency in laravel, codeigniter, symfony, or yii frameworks.

strong understanding of mysql, postgresql, mongodb, and database optimization.

good knowledge of javascript, jquery, ajax, html5, css3, bootstrap, and react/angular (added advantage).

experience in restful apis, soap, and microservices architecture.

familiarity with git, bitbucket, docker, and cloud platforms (aws, azure, gcp).

strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

excellent communication and leadership abilities.

nice to have

experience with devops and ci/cd pipelines.

exposure to agile/scrum methodology.
