position: senior kids' salon hair stylist

job summary:

we are seeking a skilled and experienced senior hair stylist to join our team at our kids' salon. as a senior hair stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services to our young customers, leading and mentoring the team of stylists, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience for our clients and their parents.

responsibilities:

- provide excellent hair services to kids, including haircuts, styling, and treatments

- lead and mentor the team of junior stylists, providing guidance and training to help them develop their skills

- develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their parents, ensuring that they are satisfied with their hair services and feel welcomed in the salon

- stay up-to-date with the latest hair styling trends, techniques, and products, and share your knowledge with the team

- ensure that the salon is clean, organized, and well-maintained, including tools and workstations

- manage appointments, maintain records, and handle payment transactions

- continuously promote and market the salon to attract new clients and grow the business

- collaborate with other salon team members to provide exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction

- handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

requirements:

- high school diploma or equivalent

- certification in hair styling or cosmetology from a recognized institution

- at least 2-5 years of experience as a hair stylist with a strong focus on kids' hair services

- proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team of stylists

- excellent communication and customer service skills, especially with children and their parents

- up-to-date knowledge of hair care trends, techniques, and products

- ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed
